Bergen County is in the Northeast portion of New Jersey, on the West side of the Hudson River. The George Washington Bridge will take you from Bergen County into New York, should you need to go to the city.
There are many things to do and see in Bergen County. The county park system has about 9000 acres. The history in Bergen County dates back to the American Revolutionary war. In Teaneck, NJ there is a science and nature museum called World of Wings. The Bergen County Zoo is in Paramus, New Jersey Naval Museum in Hackensack, and the Fort Lee Museum in Fort Lee. I found a lot more interesting and fun things you can do in Bergen County at http://www.funnewjersey.com.
If you are wanting to get out of the hectic New York city life to raise a family, or maybe you’ve raised your family and it’s time to retire, you might want to look into luxury apartments Bergen County. Areas like Fort Greene would be a great place to raise a family, or spend your golden years. The crime index in Fort Greene is an 84, meaning it is safer than 84% of other cities in the nation.
Fort Lee apartments have the same standard of living as the luxury apartments you see in Manhattan. I found a nice place call The Point at Fort Lee. It has 1 bedroom apartments listed for $2066 per month, and a 3 bedroom is listed at $2917 per month. The rental rates are good, but make sure you check out all of the recurring expenses like parking, & pet fee.
If you want more of a resort style apartment, there is a place called The Modern. This place has thought of everything. It’s like being on vacation and visiting one of those luxury time share condos. Except better. What really peaked my interest was the large outdoor tv next to this beautiful green lawn. The building is pet-friendly, and you are limited to 2 pets. However, you will have to pay an additional $50 for each pet you have. Covered parking is included, but if you want an assigned space in the garage it will cost you $200 a month. A 1 bedroom here will run you about $2900 a month, and you get close to 800 sqft of living space, and a long list of amenities.
The 2 complexes are just examples of the kind of Fort Lee NJ apartments available in the real estate market today. For more listings of Fort Lee rentals, just do a Google search to find the area you like best.
